There was some discussion earlier on another thread about liquor being advertised on TV but it was determined that it had been a self imposed prohibition by the networks. It was and is perfectly legal and OK to advertise hard liquor.

I feel a little bad for Newman. He was going to be the big star for Pensky and once again he is in second place. As a team they seem to be having their problems this year. I'm not his biggest fan but it would be nice to see him up front again.

Somebody has got to be their fans. Waltrip is an OK driver if he has a good team to support him. This year doesn't appear to be all that good for him. It will be interesting to see what next year brings with the new cars. It also seems like some of the flare for his NAPA TV adds is gone also. Maybe Jr brought more to the table than most people realize.

It's hard to believe, but I think Michael can out talk his brother.
The guy just never shuts up and goes on and on and on about his sponsors and how great Nascar is. He has become such a butt kisser it's disgusting. The funny thing is, nowadays, unless he's at a plate track, he is usually lapped traffic. Now he's even sweating bullets if he can make the show being 35th in points. If he keeps that up for long, Napa will dump him like a hot potato. THAT, I would love to see.
