The more successful you become in life, the more people will despise you. No one despised the Kyle Pettys of the world who happily take orders from the Man. But everyone envies the one who knows what he wants and takes it, the guy who won’t be played, and the guy who manages to focus on his passions.

Most people remain static all their lives. They do not change and cannot change. They are basically the same way they were five ago. But Gordon is totally different, for now he has improved and refined himself while others have stayed the same in their vaporous habits.

Imagine they are gathered in a circle around Gordo taking bets on when he will quite the NASCAR scene. And when Gordo does, they will let out a sigh of relief and say Thank goodness!" People do not want Gordo to succeed. They want him to fail. Their lives can only succeed by seeing Gordon fail.

Gordo has endurance and nothing can overtake the power of endurance.

They are probably golddigger wannabees. Thank God that Gordo has suffered through all the tricks and tatics, (Brooke), and will 'next' them in due time.

Okay lets see, so far I have heard (in no particular order)...

the man enunciates his words...he is too short...he must pay for his good looking dates...he is not a nonconformist...he is too much of a pretty boy...he doesn't win enough since his divorce...etc

You forgot - Major whiner, bumps people out of the way to win but whines when anyone does anything to him, is generally not a likeable person
