The race is on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 18 at 3 PM on ABC.

The winner will receive a permanent upgrade of your member title if you choose the 1st & 2nd place drivers.

If you get just the 1st place driver you'll get a one month upgrade of your member title.

If you get just the 2nd place driver you get an honorable mention in the predictions thread. The guesses must be made prior to qualifying.

Correct guesses after that will get honorable mention only.

I have a question before I can make my prediction. What has to happen for JG to win the championship? Can he still win it? Does JJ have to have a DNF and JG have to win? Because, you know, my whole world is revolving around getting this last prediciton right...um, yup, ok. But I'd like to go in knowing what I've got to work with. I haven't been keeping up to speed on this.

All I know is if Jimmie finish 18th or better no matter what Gordon does to automatically get the title.

Correct, bears9, and...if Johnson leads one lap, he only needs to be 19th or better.
If he leads the most laps, he could still falter at the end, finish at least 21st, and still win the Cup.
