I'm surprised that there isn't any ranting and raving over a full-time Cup driver taking the Busch Championship.

Maybe cause it was over so long ago all up rope urination efforts have been expended and/or abandoned?

Impressive that David R. and his Toyota appear to be ending up in 2nd. Not a shabby showing for MWR with Toyo in their first year. Have to give some thought to how MWR was able to get it so right in Busch, and not quite so right in Cup. Just not ready to excercise that brain cell just now.

I for one am not at all happy about it. I like Edwards, but in this series he is just another raider. One who has advantages over those trying to get a better job. I'm just to tired tonight to go on my normal rant about cup raiders. It's not easy being retired and playing golf in November in New England. Someone just has to do it.

There was alot of it last year when Harvick won the title. I think this year people are just use to it.

Carl's only in his 3rd full time season as well, given the way the veteran drivers still run the occasional busch race I see no harm in a newish Cup driver still running the Busch series.

Maybe they should have a cut off tho, say an age limit like in bikes or say after 3 or 5 years of full time Cup racing you are nolonger eligible. This would assure seats for newer drivers as well still giving the newer Cup drivers the chance to get extra seat time for the first few years they are in Cup.
