....who thinks that maybe some sinister going ons happened while Kyle Busch had his last pit stop and the jackman for some reason couldnt lift the car enough for the tire changer to take the wheel off?????

I'm not one who normally subscribes to these conspiracy theories......but what was that crap????!!!!!

Its funny that I hear SO much bit#hing about HMS on this site and yet noone else finds this outrageous???

I'm almost positive that the exact same problem happened on another car as well. I can't remember who for the life of me. I'll record the race again on Thursday (erased it already) and see if I can find it. Maybe I just imagined it. Sure wouldn't be the first time. But I don't think there's anything more to the whole episode other than the jackman just plain screwing up. I would think it would be nearly impossible to plan something like that ahead of time. There's too many variables and too many big mouths.

Although it also happened to Kurt. I really don't think Kyle's was as much accident as Kurt's was.
Kyle got screwed by the jackman who didn't get the car lifted enough. Ok maybe jackman can say it wasn't on purpose. But the crew chief should have just went with those 2 tires then and been done, instead of going on and doing 4. After all everyone else only did 2. But if he had done that, then Kyle might would have won. And we all know the lame duck can not win.
Dave Despain said Hendrick's comments about it were, that the pit crew had also gotten him out front some that day, so it all evened out. I don't agree with that. He went from leading to finishing 20th ( I think ). How was that evened out?

Want a REAL GOOD conspiracy theory? How about DEI sabotaging Junior's car so that the wheel would fall off with four laps to go and him in the hunt??? No, this is NOT something I made up but actually came from several callers on yesterday's Sirius Speedway show!!! Hoooweee!!!

Oh yeah, the idea was for Theresa Earnhardt to be instructing some rogue member of DEI to have a "kill" switch that when pressed would trigger a small "charge" to blow the wheel off the #8 car ONLY IF IT WAS IN CONTENTION!!! A $100,000 race car is very well worth the destruction if it guarantees that Junior never wins another race while at DEI!

People have way too much time on their hands! Jeesh! But it's entertaining as HECK though!

I do think there's something going on, how is it that kyle always gets bit, or a pep talk when running with or ahead of the twins.

yet the twins alway have everything covered. they always come back to a top 5 or a win, ...............IDK

Maybe in the last race of the season Kyle will take both of em out. I sure would love to see that. Would be even better if the next 2 races are bad for them and good for Bowyer, and they neither one win the championship. I know it won't happen.But right now when I need to go to my happy place, I see Kyle wrecking Gordon and Johnson both and Clint holding the trophy.

Everyone knows my stance when it comes to the Hendricks organization.... but I don't think the jackman was paid off. I think he just effed up. JMO

I don't see any major conspiracy. IRT Kyle, I think that it was just a stupid mistake.

IRT Junior (someone mentioned him here), Another mistake early in the race. IF any crew member intentionally left a wheel loose at a high speed track like Atlanta, that is one sick, sick puppy! A\ifetime ban from organized racing would be much too good for him.

IRT both of them: I think Junior has become RCR's and DEI engine R&D driver. I think he still wants to win and I think DEI feels the same. But I believe that DEI thinks that if they can get any info from the engines he runs, that, in the long run, might be even more important.
HMS, OTOH, is happy Kyle is in the Playoffs. However, I think that they are putting maximum effort in making sure the #'s 24 ans 48 are in shape to take it all. I don't think that the organization is sabotauging the #5 but I don't believe that they are taking any extra pains to make sure he wins, either. What Kyle is doing, competition-wise, I think that he and the team are doing strictly on guts.

I read somewhere that Jr had said they must have a bad hub cause they had alot of trouble with the lugs on the left rear keep getting loose. I don't think nobody sabotaged him.
I understand that the problem with Kyle's jackman was a mistake. What I didn't understand and think was intentional, was the fact that his crew chief still decided to do 4 tires after the problem instead of just 2. Everyone else was doing 2. If they had went with just 2 he probably would have finished better than 20th.

Loosening a wheel would be pretty sick at that track. BUT....I have to admit that the bad luck that Jr. has encountered this year is unbelievable!! Truex really came on once the announcement was made by Jr.....that seems pretty strange. Why does his motor blow all the time and not the other DEI cars?

I don't think Theresa wants anyone to get hurt, but I'll bet she isn't upset at all that Truex is in the Chase rather than Jr.
