Well, someone in the media has finally done it. The host of Metro Detroit's only NASCAR talk radio show has accepted Tony Stewart's challenge to a fence-climbing contest. Rob Pascoe, host of WDFN AM 1130's "On the Track" says he will climb a fence with Stewart in June at Michigan International Speedway. Name the fence and the time, says Pascoe who is tired of Stewart picking on people who he says have no way to defend themselves on camera. Whether Stewart would ever consider actually climbing against Pascoe under a stopwatch is uncertain. A call I made to Stewart's media relations agent, Mike Arning at True Speed Communication hasn't resulted in any comment yet. In the past, Stewart has made jokes at his own expense about how tough it is for a guy of his bulk to continue emulating the victory tradition he picked up from watching Indy Car's Helio Castroneves.
