You can almost read into her comments that she says she isn't a very good driver. I understand a driver wants a quality team, but I find it hard to believe if she said she was interest atleast one quality team wont call. So is she saying that she needs a dominant Gordon like team to be successful? I think most drivers believe they can win with most teams. I'm sure when Dario decide to jump with Chip he didn't have a doubt in his mind that he could win with CGR. To me Danica is a joke. She is just waiting for all the talent to jump out of the IRL so she can finally win a race. I'm pretty much done with all this Danica hype. I wish she would just shut up and show up on race day. Until then pretty much anything Danica should be irrelavent.

It doesn't make sense for her to leave a team she can win with? When did she win? Did I miss it? She's got a ways to go before any really competitive teams start banging down her door. Let's start with getting a win with any team!

I would second that thought.

In Danica's defense, I can only imagine the pressure put on her by the media and herself, in pursuit of success. It is true that she made the decision to be where she is but I believe that Danica will ALWAYS be treated differently by both both the media and the fans.

i would hate to see the circus that would happen if she went to NASCAR ....... and i dont care if you put her in JG's seat, she has no chance of winning in Cup .... she has very little talent imo

to the point Montoya has won at all levels of open wheel, and he has for sure had his struggles ........ Danica has won nothing in IRL and she would win nothing in Cup either

I heard Danica on Sirius Speedway with Dave Moody and boy, STUCK UP does not BEGIN to describe this woman!!!

She was way too defensive and even when Moody made a joke about "Good luck racing at the Brickyard next year..." she came back at him with

"Uh, we call it Indy. Brickyard makes it sound like the Brickyard 400. We run the Indy 500!"

You guys and gals can decide for yourself...

She may not be a great driver but being stuck up has nothing to do with it, she may have just been irritated 'cause her aunt flow had visited her..

I hate that Indy "elitest" bulltony. The only reason she acts that way is because she know if she went Nascar the pressure would be 1000x greater than in the IRL. She also knows she wouldn't accomplish "tony" at the Cup level. So she pulls this IRL is better stance out of denial. I can't wait until her team finally gives up on her and she is stuck out of a job. Then maybe then we would stop hearing about her.

Tell you what, all we have to do is let nature take its course. At this rate, IRL will be out of drivers soon enough and someone will hand her a note in the garage one day that says: "Last one out turn off the lights please!"

She' d be lucky to succeed in the Truck Series much less Cup!!! Heck, once Skinner, Hornaday and the rest of the boys put that first "rubdown" on her, she won't know if she should spear the safety barrier or come in the pits backwards (oh wait, she's already an expert at doing that!)

Attitudes

I missed her on Moody's show (or, as I call it, the William from Mississippi Show - people who listen to SIRIUS radio's NASCAR channel will understand that statement, I'm sure) but I think her choice of words, if the quotes I've seen are accurate,\ and I believe that they are, were unfortunate, to say the least. They reflect a thinking that was very prevalent during the era of CART, before T.G. broke with that sorry series and "invented" IRL.

Now, also very unfortunately, I see the very same logic being shown with many NASCAR fans, only in the reverse. The feeling I see and hear quite often is that NASCAR, and almost exclusively NASCAR Cup, is the ONLY racing out there today. It's a "We've got the best TV package, the highest profile drivers and the best tracks; 'Our racing' is the only racing that really matters!" type of thinking.
Substitute NASCAR with Indy racing and CART and you have the same attitude that was prevalent with the "wine and brie set" a decade and a half ago. Now it seems to be a "beer and hot dog set."

All that being said, Look who Danica drives for. Unfortunately, when it comes to racing a variety of cars, Michael isn't exactly a "Chip off the old block." I'd say she fits in nicely with Andretti-Green's view of racing.

I believe that she is infinitely more talented, IRT racing, than the other female motoring around in the IRL cars. Unfortunately she's in a Series which doesn't rank a whole lot higher in American interest than the American Le mans Series. (Which, I've found, is a pretty interesting series if you give it a chance.

quite the contrary. Milka has worked for everything she has and has proven herself capable. Milka enjoys her fans, especially the younger ones, and is polite and respectful to everyone. Milka's bio/resume is very impressive, Danica's head would swell 4X minimum if she had one to equal it. I'd love to see Milka in equivalent equipment to Danica .. I know who I'd be rooting for and who would finish in front....
