| Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco According to AP reports, "Joe Gibbs Racing has lost one of its much-admired group of 'Young Guns,' with 19-year-old Brad Coleman set to leave the team at the end of the 2007 season to become a full-time driver with Brewco Motorsports in NASCAR's Nationwide Series, currently the Busch Series... Coleman will take over the No. 27 Ford Fusion that has been shared during the past two seasons by Nextel Cup drivers Greg Biffle, Robby Gordon, Jamie McMurray and Ward Burton." Good move for the young man? Precocious teen Coleman leaves Gibbs for full-time Nationwide ride with Brewco - NASCAR - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco I think it's a good move for him. Maybe these big teams should stop signing these guys and then letting the cup drivers run the series instead and then these guys only get to run limited races. Sounds like Coleman has his head in the right place, set on racing instead of just being signed to a big name team.

| Re: Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco I admire Coleman for doing this. It takes balls to leave a part time team that you can basically win any race with for a full time team that pretty much he will be running mid pack with. I understand the kid wants to race, but this decision could make or break his career. I'm sure he saw the writing on the wall with Logano coming up and all. Logano is pretty much a lock for the 4th Gibbs cup team when that happens. I believe it wont be too many years before we see him on Sundays. I really can't believe JGR is just letting him walk like this. First Aric Almirola now Coleman. These are too guys who really deserve rides and will be winners on Sunday. When it comes down to it does Kyle Busch really need a full time ride in the Nationwide series? Does Hamlin and Stewart need part time rides? I really hope JGR know what they are doing. What happens if Hamlin and Busch don't turn out to be as great as their potential? We have seen it before drivers start their careers hot have so much potential and then drop off the map. Steve Park anyone? The road Ryan Newman seems to be heading down. Then what does JGR do? JGR needs to stop letting their talent leave them. |

| Re: Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco If 2007 is remembered for anything except the new race car nit might be remembered for teams lamenting "The One Who Got Away." First The felon let Kyle Busch slip through his fingers for the sake of highly talented "Big Name." The "Big Name" however, is not the most talented driver in NASCAR, and with the competition he faces might well never be listed in the top ten of any era. Now Gibb let's Coleman go. I see problems on the horizion for Hamlin and having Brad Coleman on reserve might not have been a bad place to be in. Bottom line: IMNSVHP, mucho bad choice, JGR. íMuchisimo!

| Re: Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco Second time? What about Bobby? Then there is JJ. I love how when JJ asks for changes he gets denied. Then here comes KB I'm sure he will get what he wants. Pisses me off, everyone knew that Interstate didn't pay squat. That was their excuse no sponsorship money to compete. KB comes along and all of a sudden they are able to pull IB off the hood and throw it to the side for M&Ms. So JD couldn't find another sponsor the whole time Bobby and JJ were in the car? I don't believe that. I love Joe Gibbs, but I really hope JD ruins things beyond repair and drives this team into the ground. JD is a joke plain and simple. |

| Re: Coleman leaves Gibbs for Brewco Steve Park got in an accident that changed his career and Ryan Newman is a proven driver. Something in the mix just isn't working right now. It could be a multitude of things but I believe that Ryan can drive. |
