I'm speechless. Anybody know what that was all about?

It's about him letting his muscles go to his head. He has confronted Jr, Stewart, and several other drivers. Now he has tried to punk his team mate.

Someone should tell him you need to play well with others. His act has gotten old. Maybe him and Denny Hamlin need to go to anger managment. I would Send Tony too, but he could teach the class!

I think Tony has failed the class several times over.

OK. Enough of the flippant (no pun intended) stuff... It'd be easy to throw bricks at Opie but I didn't see, nor hear, what happened on the track. It just seems to me that, of late, Carl is rubbing a lot of drivers the wrong way. To me it looks as though its a case of another driver starting to believe everything that is written about him. I agree with Jimmy. This is something Roush/Fenway doesn't need at the moment (or ever, for that matter).

BTW, Tony's already been to anger management therapy. It was mandated the year he won his first championship when he made it pretty plain that he didn't hold the media, and their inane interview questions in the highest regard.

Attending and learning are two totally different concepts in the Tony camp.

Edwards and Kenseth face off in post-race flap near tunnel at Martinsville Speedway

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Roush Fenway Racing drivers Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth got into a heated verbal exchange while both were leaving Martinsville Speedway on Sunday night.
Kenseth was about to be interviewed by Speed Channel reporter Bob Dillner in the area of Turn 4 near the access tunnel when Edwards came up to Kenseth to complain about an on-track incident in the race.
The two exchanged words and Edwards appeared to raise his hand as if to strike Kenseth, but pulled away. Part of the incident was captured by Speed’s cameras and shown on the network’s post-race programming, “NASCAR Victory Lane” and “Speed Report.”
Officials with Edwards and Kenseth’s teams could not be reached late Sunday for comment.

By the way, I would love to see more of the comments here being addressed towards Carls actions, as opposed to taking the chance for another swing at Tony.

I regret adding the comment about him in my post, since it seems to have taken away from Carls actions.

Carl takes things to a different level, even though his actions aren't as frequent. His ramming Jr's car, while Dale's hand was outside the window. And I remember him coming to Victory lane to confront a driver as well. Now this. He sure knows where the camera is. I'd like to see someone put him on his @#$. When he wasn't winning, folks just said he was frustrated. Now he is in the chase, and I'm sure some will say he is just competitive.

Back on topic please, or at least address this issue, as well as getting on other drivers.

You're correct Phil. We do tend to wander in our posts but we'll try to stay on Carl's back this time. As of yet I've found little to no info on what the "discussion" was about. I would have thought that Speed would have reviewed the tapes and found what the issue was about. I'm sure it happened on the track and not over some bar-b-que issues.

True enough. We may have to watch the Boys on Speed tonight. If Biffle is there, I wonder if he will spill the beans for us!

Probably not, but it will be fun to see.

At the very least, it will give them another 24 hours to dig up some more info. I wouldn't hold my breath for "NASCAR Now" to know. That show sucks. And Jayski has nothing. Also, not one word on Sirius today. All they are talking about is Jr's blown motor.

That's short track racing baby! I love when drivers get emotional. No idea why Carl was so upset but he'd completely destroy Kenseth LOL!

The Chase drivers 'all' have a bit of an attitude. They expect the competition to lay down and let them by. There is just as big a race to get in and stay in the top 35 which the Chase drivers seem to forget.

well carl didn't strike matt, so that shouldn't be an issue.
I also think the drivers should be able to "discuss" thier differences without nascar intervention as long as it does not come to blows at the track.
in this incident I say let rousch deal with it, nascar should keep thier nose out of it.

besides, you know it will draw people to view next week to see if they get into it on the track.

I used to actually like Carl but within this year I noticed his attitude change for the worst and confronting people. In the long run he might lose some fans! Money going to his head and fame! Some people! LOL!

I watched the video just now! Carl needs some Xanxes (probably spelled that wrong)! I like Kenesth nothing against him but Carl needs a reality check fast! If he only did that to Tony all he** would break lose! Let him try that on Stewie! I want to kick his butt now-Let's get Carl! Think he is big with all his muscles-PLEASE!

that was over the top with the threatening of force. pulling him away from an interview I can deal with, you need to say what you gotta say when you gotta say it. he did atleast pull him away.

but this seems to be over a little bump back that sent Carl high in the turn costing him posistion he had just gained.
