with Kyle finishing 21st and Bobby 22nd, looks like they may be sharing, or at least even.

As of Martinsville, Bobby's owner (Richard) is 18th and Kyle's owner (Kyle) is 34th.

I think the Kyle/Bobby switch will be a race to race thing, depending on who does better at each track:

• Atlanta: Kyle's avg finish is 26, Bobby's is 20 plus Bobby has a win in the last 9 races there while Kyle only has a single T10.
• Texas: Kyle's avg finish is 25 as is Bobby's, though Bobby has had 2 poles, they haven't produced anything...
• Phoenix: Kyle's avg finish is 28, Bobby's is 14.
• Homestead: Kyle's avg finish is 27, Bobby's is 22 plus Bobby has a win in the last 4 races there while Kyle has had only 2 races and no T10's.

But there's another tactic that maybe Kyle ought to consider: getting another driver, like maybe Boris, to sub for him. Boris has an avg finish in 2007 of 19 (but only 8 races) while Kyle's is 28 (25 races). Boris is a veteran driver and super fast on the high banks (surprising for a road course ringer), plus he's got the ability to quickly learn a track and most important, knows how to race for points.

So if owner points is the game: put Bobby in the 43 at Texas (his home track) and in the 45 at Atlanta, Phoenix and Homestead, Boris in the 45 at Texas, then in the 43 at Atlanta, Phoenix and Homestead. Kyle sits out the rest of the year (maybe behind the microphone....)

That's what I'd do if I was calling the shots....

f thiseehappen ldnt wwrry about it too much. Basically all it will be is a swapping of numbers. Bobby will still get the same crew, equipement, and even sponsor. the only difference is instead of being entered in as the 43 with the king for the owner he will be entered in as the 45 with Kyle as the sponsor. I would be more worried if I were a Kyle fan. PE needs to hurry up and merge with GEM. Hell the 43 is the best out of both teams. put everyone in house and commit the best for Bobby to make another Chmpionship run.
