this idea just occurred to me ..... havent worked out the kinks, but i thought it sounded really cool

how about an elimination race ?

have it at a small track like Bristol .... put about 25 cars out there .... run green for 10 laps, then throw the caution and remove whomever is in last .... continue until you have a winner

Oh I wasn't condeming it. I just can't see where it would fit into the schedule and how it would work within th epoints system. I'd rather see something like that versus the all star race. That is a farce. This would be pure fun.

it wouldnt ..... and they would never consider it ..... i just think it would be very entertaining

Tony wouldn't make it very far. To many people hate him ... drivers included

I like the idea. The drivers would then be racing to win, not just place well enough to get points.
