I'm with you on Bobby Ginn, Petty. People like him are one of the major problems with this current brand on NA$CAR.

That aside, Ginn is in some sort of partnership agreement with DEI. The kids who hired the banner insulted one of the partners (Ginn) by innuendo. (I agree with them, BTW) However, they are the partnership's EMPLOYEES.

If they want to make disparaging remarks about the person who feeds them, them don't do it in public. If they want to make it public, them either quit first, or go form their own company, like the Earnhardt's or Ginn did.

Unless, or course, you think they should be "protected," like union members are. If that be the case, then we are so far apart in our thinking that this debate is useless.

Sometimes there are clauses in contracts that prohibit certain things. Unless we know the entire story it is difficult to know exactly why they were fired.

What was it the little chick on SNL used to say? "Simma down now! Simma down!" <VBG>

I think I understand what you're saying, Petty. I have no doubt that Ginn, plus another couple of people affiliated with NASCAR teams, are first-class scumbags.

I also agree that they should be able to state the truth using their own money and time. Here is where I believe we disagree... I also firmly believe that the scumbag being targeted also has the right to deal with the people criticizing him in any legal manner he feels appropriate.

That's on of the things which make this country unique and different from many other countries; even A-holes have rights, too. When you don't have that, then you have to have some weenie in the government deciding who are the A-holes and who are the good guys. And we all know how well our government does at making good decisions, right?

Whether I am a scumburger or not is immaterial. If one of my employees did to me what those two did to Ginn, their butts would be on the street in a nanosecond.

Re: DEI members fired for Ginn Banner

at first I was like, what gives DEI the right to fire them for talking about thier old boss.
then after reading I realized that Ginn is still involed with DEI, that in turn would give DEI a clear right, has it could directly affect the company and it relationship with Ginn.
