| Toyota becoming competitive after 30 races? The major argument surrounding Toyota's entry into Nextel Cup concerned the length of time it would need to become competitive. The answer appears to be about 30 races. Toyota's numbers are getting interesting. At Talladega, Toyota finished ahead of Dodge and Ford as Dave Blaney was third. Blaney was sixth last week at Lowe's, where the top Ford was fifth and the top Dodge was eighth. Toyotas have qualified decently this year, and that was capped at Talladega where five of its cars qualified in the top 10. | Re: Toyota becoming competitive after 30 races? Yeah Clutch I know. But I got to have something to ***** about. The Yota's have at least taken the place of tail end Charlie. The Chryslers have moved up a notch on the totem pole. But nothing can knock off the Ford. |
