I'm waitin' for the first 'Yota or Honda engine to show up in a "hot rod" tractor pull. When they do that, they will have "arrived" and redneck-land will grudgingly accept them.

until then there's nothin' like a big ole Chevy, Ford or Hemi runnin' nitro and rattling your stomach all the way to the backbone.... put a pair or more on the tractor and I'm in heaven....

same with the fuelers over on the drag strip... nothin' like the "feel" of a big block racin' engine, especially when it's gulping the nitro.

even these small block engines run in most circle track classes will twiddle the stomach from time to time .. man I love the sound of a well tuned V8...
