DEI unveils the new US Army #8 car at Lowe's

DEI brought the new US Army #8 Chevy to Lowe's this weekend.
The number design is the same, but the car has changed from red to black.

Boy thats gonna take some getting use to. I don't think it looks that bad.

I think the 8 lks to big, might be the white with yellow shadowing. it would look better with a silver shadow.

I agree, the 8 looks a little too big but I like the overall paint scheme.
But then I'm partial to black

no way can it be mistaken as Jr's car .. and that's good!

wonder if they're gonna put the seat on rails? did ya notice the difference in height between Aric & Mark?

They should put one of those hydraulic seats like I have in my car with the lumbar support and sliding thingys for lean, etc.!!!

The 8 car in the photos looks good but there is a CAVEAT that I noticed right off... The paint scheme reminds me of the New Orleans Saints uniform colors and if that car's fortune is like the Saints PLAY, then I'm afraid DEI will be in for a LOOOOOOOONG year no matter who's driving that car!!!

I like it. Doesn't really look all that different to me. The 8 is the same shape and still has those DEI three lines going through as part of the logo.

I hate to say it, but I like it more than the new 88. The 8 is far more steamlined as far as design goes than the mish-mash of the 88.

Hmmmm ... Army ... National Guard ...
