Jason Keller is about to make NASCAR history. Sadly, hardly anyone will notice. When Keller starts the ignition of his No. 11 InvestLinc Chevrolet in the Yellow Transportation 300 on Saturday at Kansas Speedway, he will make his 417th career start, tying the NASCAR Busch Series record held by Tommy Houston. But it's doubtful most folks sitting in the grandstands or watching on ESPN even know who Keller is, much less realize he's won more than $11 million in career prize money. "Even my mom and dad, when they're at home, they say, ‘Well, they never showed you on TV and never say anything about you,' " said Keller, a 16-year veteran. "I can't control that. I'm one of those guys trying to do my job and do it well … and represent the sponsors I have to the very best of my ability. I'll notice for sure. Keller sort of dropped of the face of the earth once the Cup invasion got going in full force, much like we've seen David Green, Randy Lajoie, Tim Fedewa and Hank Parker Jr. (just to name a few) do. It seems he's resurfaced and has been fairly competetive, it'd be nice for him to get up there and give em something to talk about on his 417th.

I noticed they didn't even mention it til it was like 12 laps to go. Thats sad really. Oh well, they were to busy talking about cup drivers, imagine that.

actually they did mention the record a couple of times. He was interviewed before the race and they talked about the record.

I didn't get to see anything before the race. My channel had the LSU game on and when Nascar came on they were ready to do the anthem and all that.
