| Hamlin is NASCAR's biggest prima donna? I'm trying to figure when Denny Hamlin became the authority on who should and shouldn't get the chance to race on Sunday's in NASCAR. I know one thing, Hamlin has definitely won over the title of biggest prima donna in the Nextel Cup garage this season, and his comments after Dover concerning what happened between himself and Kyle Petty only proved that fact even more. When asked about Petty's frustration after the two wrecked Hamlin said: I think a lot of it was his frustration over this whole top 35 thing, but we're racing for bigger and better things. Hopefully, one day, if they get it turned around, I can exchange the favor. But right now, we're the guys racing for the championship, so you know, heed a little bit." -- Hartford Courant Shawn Courchesne | Auto Racing: Denny Hamlin Shows Once Again He's The King Of NASCAR Entitlement |

| Re: Hamlin is NASCAR's biggest prima donna? Maybe they could just have a race with only the 12 Cup racers, who ever wins, wins the Cup, then they could go back to the regular racing season where all 43 racers are in the race. |

| Re: Hamlin is NASCAR's biggest prima donna? how in the world would that be fair? no other cars to blame for one's poor performance. one race takes all. what if primadonna A had a hang nail? what if primadona B was taken out by primadonna C? besides, how could we have a race without Jr.? what would the announcers have to talk about?
