NASCAR fans a different breed....

first let me say this i have been a fan of nascar since i can remember and I am 24...

However, some nascar fans just treally amaze me...

you should like your driver no matter what, who cares what product they push or what type of car they drive, or who owns their car for that matter...

my dad and i always liked the kodiak better than black mgd car, and the black mgd car better than any of the miller lite cars that rusty drove...

we also were always gm people and we didn't stray from rusty when HIS OWNER switched from pontiac to ford to dodge...

i just don't get all the sponsor loyalty either, do people realize that they're playing into the hands of some suit behind a desk some where...

not that there is anything wrong with working in an office i just don't want to be a pawn in someone's game to make a load of cash...

especially then if you do have sponsor loyalty you should never be able to complain about how money has ruined the sport...

oh well maybe i feel this way because i am a big of nascar and of traditional stick and ball sports as well and i am only loyal to the teams...

and yes i know nascar is a team sport but everyone knows the drivers in nascar are comparable to the teams in baseball, hockey or football, i.e. the majority of nascar fans don't say i am a fan of the 2 car and then always follow that "team" for our days in the sport...

you have a driver and then driver may retire or something and then you pick another...

now i am not saying any of this is a really such a bad thing just a different thing...

If we were all the same it would be pretty boring. I'm glad we are all different in the way we view NASCAR.
