I don't get the controversy (strong word, I know) for Bud to sponsor Kasey. How much older was Jr. when Bud first sponsored him? He was still a young party boy. Kasey will do well for Bud. I also have hunch that the Jr. Bud posters, flags, memorabelia, etc. were given to the bars/restaurants by the Bud salesman. Same with liquor stores.

In fact, there is a life-size cardboard cut out of Tony Stewart at the grocery store I frequent. I turned around, and was staring eye-to-eye with Tony. Scared the living sh*t out of me the first time I saw it. I don't even know what product display this cut out is next to, but I'd be willing to bet that it was given to the store by the product salesman.

Just the thought of Bud going to Kyle Busch makes me cringe. Mark Martin stepping into the 8 for DEI, I can live with.

I don't think the man/car makes the product or vice versa. I shop at Home Depot, not Lowe's. Has nothing to do with the fact that I like Stewart, don't like Johnson.

I guess times like these give writer's job security. Not much else to talk about ... The Chase is on ... not much focus on that ... I wonder why.

Precisely! In my opinion, The Chase backfired. I paid more attention to Martin and Jr. than I did on the "Chasers" during Dover. Ten races do not a season make!

However, I have to tell you that even I'm getting bored with all this Jr. talk. Love 'em. But enough already! However, I may chime in on a few more threads regarding the subject! It's in my nature ... like the scorpion on the back of the frog. Plus there's not much else to chat about.

Now ya see I don't know if that is good or bad. I'm not much for the animated flicks. I tried to watch "Cars" and fell asleep doing so. I thought (foolishly) that it was going to be about racing. Was I just a bit naive ???

It's a good thing. Shrek is an ogre with heart. The only reason I watched it was because there was nothing else on. I must have 200 channels, and Shrek was my choice. Pretty sad!

The movie has a lot of adult innuendo that kids wouldn't get. Actually pretty good for an animated flick. Wouldn't watch in again though.
