| Re: 2008 Testing I wouldn't think so. They shouldn't test or anything else til they are with that new team. Til the end of this season, Jr is employed at DEI, I don't think he should be able to test with HMS til after Homestead. |

Is the any gain for DEI in this?? If not, then the answer is just a firm no. Just how I feel. Players in other sports don't try out or practice with another team when they contract is in the last season. Again, no way! |

| Re: 2008 Testing Should drivers changing team in '08 be allowed to test with new teams ??? Yes, if their current team gives the OK.: No, they need to give 100% to their current team. Find it near impossible to come down on the 'ol "Yes / No" required response here. Kinda like the courtroom question where only yes or no become allowed - Do you still beat your mother? Actually it feels more the test of an individuals ethics and dedication. Imagine some may answer the following in the exact same manner as they might the question of the string - upon entering what is represented to be a fully commited relationship to and with a member of the opposite sex, to which at least your own heart has become fully committed, will you upon suggestion and/or permission of said member of the opposite sex, tryst out with another/all others? Now look at the previous posts and try not to laugh. Last edited by wingkey1 : 09-24-2007 at 05:03 PM. Reason: fun |

| Re: 2008 Testing Alas, are any of us naive enough to think that Jr. isn't chatting with Gordon? They are pretty tight. Let's face it. It's over. On to HMS for Jr. He's going to try his damnedest to win a race for DEI, but if he discovers some big secret, I'm pretty sure he'll share it with Gordon off-line. On the other hand, I don't think Gordon would do the same until the season is officially over. However, Gordon doesn't have anything to worry about. Jr. is out of The Chase.

| Re: 2008 Testing No. It's like "corporate espionage". Your competitors may find out your secrets eventually, but that doesn't mean you have to make it easier for them. From an owner standpoint, I'd say no. |
