Sorry I haven't read the NASCAR rule book so this more opinion than fact.
Biffle couldn't even cross the finish line so he wins? If his engine blew 50 feet from the finish line would he still have won? If so, why keep doing laps under the yellow why not just declare him the winner when Juan blew his tire?

Would biffle's fuel last until the finish line running full throttle as it didn't at the pace car speed?

Of course not, he would have run out of gas long before the finish and Clint would have won.

I didn't hear Johnson whinning, must have missed that part of the interview. I do think he has a valid point that if you can't maintain pace car speed you finish at the point in the line up that you cross the finish line.


If some one could please explain this NASCAR decision to me I'd be forever grateful.
