The Single Barrel was saved because Clint had yet to win a race. Since I came into watching NASCAR with Matt already a Champion, I didn't get to celebrate his first win.

However, I have a DeWalt angle grinder that I absolutely LOVE! Maybe on his next win I'll paint a big '17' on the side of it.

Maybe if he wins the Championship I'll go buy another power tool... aw darn.

Heh... I hadn't really thought that far. Really if either one of them won the Championship I'd be VERY happy! I'm still Giddy from Bowyer getting his first win (sans any help from JD)... I'd have to figure out a way to celebrate. Of course if Jeff Gordon wins, my husband will have to figure out a way to celebrate. Maybe paint the car? heh.

Buying the Jack Daniel's distillery... wouldn't that be something?

No sweat. Thanks to that great and wonderful "Chosen 35" (golden) rule ... he'll still be racing. Wouldn't that be just great. A chase driver not making the race !!!!! France would have a heart attack.

What a difference...One week you've won your first race and moved to 4th in the chase points.
The next week you qualify last out of 49 cars.
Dang...If he weren't in the "Chosen 35", he'd be going home right now.
I followed the Live Leaderboard while they were qualifying, so I don't know what happened to make him run so slow.
