Biffle could leave Roush for DEI?

Greg Biffle's got one more season on his contract with Jack Roush, and negotiations on an extension ended months ago, and since then Biffle has had little success, certainly not as much as his teammates. And the garage is again awash in speculation that he may be talking with Dale Earnhardt Inc. about a ride there when his contract with Roush ends. -- Winston Salem-Journal

How about this scenario:

Will JGR being on board, Red Bull sees success in its future. They buy out Biffle's contract, start a third team, then put Biffle back with the guy who gave him the most success, Doug Reichert, who is currently Brian Vickers' crew chief.

It makes as much sense as anything else the "experts" in the media are spewing out to us.

You actually think about these situations and present them as possiblilities verses those mediots who present them as unproven fact. If that makes sense.

If you think back, Dustin, my man, I believe that you'll find that, in the majority of cases when I put out some radical concept, I usually back it up with some sort of logic.

IRT the media hacks you refer to, be gentle. Most of these people are not too long out of college and a Journalism major just teaches you enough to be dangerous. Most got into the media game with their dreams focused on government and NYC or Washington D.C. (That's where the BIG stories, TV camera, and books deals are!) They get hired on some rag as either a human interest writer, an obituary writer, or a sports hack. They get all their news from the press releases, nascar.com, and after a time they learn about jayski.com. Then they just steal his stuff, and give it their personal twist.

Most don't stick around too long in motor sports. They worm their way into reporting football and basketball. These are the sports that kept them drunk while in college and it's basically all they know and have interest in.

Be easy on the children, Dustin. Mostly, they know not of what they speak.

I guess your right. I guess I really shouldn't get to critical since I'm one of those children. I'd like to think I use more common sense then them though.
