NHIS Weather

Rain: It's raining at NHIS this morning. As of 10:00am/et, the Weather Channel radar doesn't look good for the immediate future. NASCAR Cup Series director John Darby says they need to get the Cup cars on the track by 12:00pm/et to get any practice in. The CTS race is scheduled for 3:00pm/et this afternoon. The forecast is for a 100 percent chance of rain this morning, but clearing during the afternoon. The weather should be fine tomorrow for the race.(9-15-2007)

Re: NHIS Weather

Stopped raining, still overcast. Cool. A bit breezy, but that'll help dry the track.

Great day for a race!

Cloudy but with break throughs of blue sky. Should be just fine for the race.

Typical Loudon. What a snoozer! Nice to see a first-time winner though.

If they'd just add some banking to the track it might improve the quality of the racing.

I keep telling ya: flat tracks are where good drivers shine, any body can drive the high banks. if there's not enough good drivers, the races will be boring...
