Will We See The 28 Back To Replace The 88

Just seen that the 88 was sold to Hendrick for JR to use. Will we see the 28 back? Would be nice to see it back on the track.

Re: Will We See The 28 Back To Replace The 88

Following is likely WAY too hopeful from one too "long time" for many to relate to.

Would love to see the 28 on track, at least initially, with a driver of worth. One with both the competitive heart consistent with the "memory of the 28" and (even less likely), one who can personally and directly relate to same. One hwo can take it to the front. Too much to ask we know. Hope reigns eternal.

I don't know. The 28 was one of the cars that Hendrick applied for a trademark on, so does RYR even still own it?

Whatever number it will be, Travis Kvapil will be driving it. That's about all I've read at this point. They don't have sponsors set yet for either car...at least not officially.

A 28 Tide Ford Fusion would look nice on the track, huh? Yates is using the Roush management department to help find sponsorship for the 2 Yates cars. Have not heard anything on who they are looking for as sponsors, but they seem that they will have them soon.
