Jonathan Lee Riches, Inmate # 40948-018 at the Federal Correctional Institute Williamsburg in South Carolina, has
filed a complaint against NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon for "recklessly drivin' his life crazy."
Riches, a serial-suer who has filed "dozens of complaints against hundreds of companies, organizations and individuals--living and dead," (24 since 2006, according to
Wikipedia) accuses Gordon of a variety of crimes, ranging from "poisoning fans with chemical weapons to wrecking other drivers by dropping Tic -Tacs and oil on the track through a secret trap door under his race car."
Other highlights include:
- "I was physically kidnapped by Gordon's pit crew. Tied up at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Gordon's pit crew took turns driving over me."
- "Plaintiff seeks 22 (Billion) dollars and Gordon's #24 car for relief."
- "Jeff Gordon told me, 'I have secret plans to release exhaust pollution into the crowds at the next Lowe's Motor Speedway race."
- "Plaintiff's life is in danger from Mr. Gordon and the #24. The daily trauma inflicted on me by Jeff Gordon is torture. Plaintiff prays for relief."
Riches also claims in the suit also claims that Gordon "tied him to his bumper at the Talladega race."
