USN Ships--USS Hancock (CV-19, later CVA-19)

We Navy types get really possessive about the ships we've served on. It's probably hard to understand but, for many of us, whenever we saw an article stating one of "our" ships was being mothballed, sold to some other country, or scheduled for a source of razor blades, it was almost like losing one of our family.
