We were at Bristol... the home of thunder road, the shake and bake circuit.

There we were, watching all that Sonoco fuel going nowhere.... slowly!
Why did the Busch cars qualify faster than the COT car....?
Why with their foot to the floor was it impossible to beat the driver in front to the next corner....?

We had a scanner at the track.... Newman needs to beat Jr for the chase. At the caution, he comes on the radio.. "this is gunna be ugly".... re-start.... coming out of turn 4 he gives Jr a bump.... they then play kiss chase for a few laps... that was it!!!

Bristol...???? Like running cars on tram lines... no advantage anywhere on the track....

Were the drivers quotes of 'great track' meant to imply it was a real race, or did they just enjoy 'the night off'.....

Anyway.... good to see Evernham motors have some fun. How did that happen...? Cus every other team was fast "metaphoricaly speaking" sound asleep!

Busch race.... completely different ball game. 3 drivers wanting the win... Leffler had the faster car, Newman was out of tires (dayum 77 not wanting to go a lap down!), and Kane was riding on adrenalin....

Now thats what I'm talkin' about!!!!
