Roseville was Nascar sanctioned when I was running Bombers in the 70s/80s. I didnt know that Stockton closed down. That sucks because it was an awesome track. We loved running the modified there because the low groove was fast in 1 and 2, but the high groove was fast in 3 and 4. Plus they always had a great late model show.
The shop I worked at back in the early 70s, sponsored Mike Wasina who was track champion at the time at West Capitol. I never made it to Roseville when it was dirt. Man, we are dating ourselves!
