Kasey Kahne will be inducted into the California Speedway Walk of Fame on Sept. 1 in a ceremony at the 2-mile track.
Fans can join Kahne and track officials at 5 p.m. EDT as Kahne's footprints, signature and a bronze plaque are preserved in concrete during an enshrinement ceremony held at Gate 12.
Kahne earned his place in the Walk of Fame because of his victory last year at the track.
Kahne joins Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jeremy Mayfield, Rusty Wallace, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Elliott Sadler, Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth as drivers in the speedway's Walk of Fame.
