Fast Push For Gordon ?

how did jeff get pushed back on the track so fast by nascar track workers???? usually they just stand around and wait for a wrecker....I wonder if they would have pushed the other gordon as fast

because it's jeff gordon. simple as that. plus hurrying was the least they could do because no one ever gets stuck in the infield grass.

He was "stuck" because of the rain and the infield was muck. I don't think pushing him has anything to do with who he is. Plus, they were very close to the end of the race. I've seen many drivers being pushed as opposed to hauled.

So that means he gets special treatment during a race?

Re: Fast Push For Gordon ?

he doesn't get special treatment, well, wait. i take that back. not because he is jeff gordon, it's because he's points leader jeff gordon. and what i meant by nobody gets stuck in the infield grass is that in that section of grass between pit road and the track, i can't remember a car getting stuck with out a lot of rain soaking it.

Oh, ok, now I get it. If you are the points leader and your name is Jeff Gordon, the Na$car officials are instructed to help in any way to make sure you stay on top in the points. It's all clear to me now, thanks for setting it straight.

Oh, my. There WAS a lot of rain soaking the grass where Gordon got stuck. Three days worth of downpours if I'm not mistaken. I'm confused ...

What's done is done. On to Bristol! Now that'll be fun! New track surface. Side-by-side racing. Can't wait!
