Well why not, everybody knows that Cingular is AT&T. I don't see where it really matters which one is on the car. Do you think though that Nextel will throw another hissy fit and say , oh but you changed to AT&T and now you can't bring Cingular back in? I could see them doing that, if they lose the lawsuit and I could see Nascar letting them do it.

It is a big deal because AT&T wanted to kill the cingular name. Actually cingular is pretty much done. it wouldn't make much sense to keep putting a dead name brand on the car especially a few years down the road. I am also pretty sure AT&T ISN'T going to resurrect it because of nascar. this probably means RCR will be looking for a new sponsor. I wonderis will hurt their chances for a fourth team. Sponsor huting for one team is one thing but for two?

Valid point.... although Nextel Sprint or whatever the hell they want to be known as is only shootin themselves in the foot with these actions or with NA$CARS actions. I know 6 people in the last month and a half that have dumped them for Verizon because Sprint is screwin up the billing. I know 4 others that will change soon to AT&t just to spite Nextel/Sprint.

Lookin for new sponsors will be rough. RCR can pull it off though. We aren't talkin about a GINN or BAM racin organization.
