still hasn't changed my mind about either store or its drivers, though.

| Re: NASCAR Team Sponsors .. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Can I play? The Good: There are a few sponsors I, personally, have problems with, but that's... well, "personal." I especially like the military branch-sponsored cars. Patriotic and needed. Thanks Pentagon. Anyone who ponies up the amount of money it takes to effectively sponsor a car in Cup or Cup Lite, or a truck in CTS, is doing a good job. They are anyway unless they fall under the category of... The Bad: Foremost here, IMNSVHO, are the "Special Paint Scheme" cars. For example the ones promoting upcoming CD releases, movies and TV series'. Let's face it, they are allowed because besides the money they help NASCAR and Action Toys sell a butt load of toy cars. For me, all they do is confuse by putting a driver in a unfamiliar car. Other things which should NEVER see the light of day on the side of a stock car in NASCAR are: (1) Anything having to do with erectile dysfunction (2) Anything having to do with feminine hygiene products (3) Prophylactics (I remember that car in the old BGN Series. As I recall it was an associate sponsor, on the rear deck.) (4) Political campaigners (I believe that NASCAR completely put a stop to this a couple years ago. I hope it sticks). The Ugly: Gary Bechtel's old Cartoon Network car made my skin crawl, but then, I dislike ALL cartoons except South Park, so go figure. Perhaps the "ugliest" sponsor I can remember, in recent history, was the one who showed up in BGN two or three years ago; Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I believe that it lasted a couple weeks and I heard that NASCAR pulled the plug, but I'm not sure. I never did find out exactly what it was but I always wondered whether it was sold at a pharmacy or an S&M leather shop in San Francisco?
