How 'boutta poll that seeks to understand what number/percentage of folks here see Ricky as representing "who they are" or "what they want to see" from/as NASCAR going forward?

yep, he's the headbanger. But you got to give him credit, he seems to know more about racing than some of these announcers this season. Of course, that's not saying alot.

A fan he might be but as an announcer/reporter/entertainer/whatever ... a major failure. Everything he says and does on TV is scripted. I'll bet he doesn't know squat about NASCAR history. I'd also bet that there are many folks right here on GTG that know more about NASCAR than he does. He really is one I could do without. At least that other character, Rutledge (???), is kinda funny.

I've seen him occasionally on "NASCAR RaceDay" on the Speed Channel, but I think he does other shows too.
