call the fire dept and tell them you need the fumes out .. afraid of a fire! they have a "big sucker" that'll take care of the fumes...

I have to be more careful writting these things. So just to clear up any misconceptions.

When I saw Jeff Gordon slide out, I was thinking if he had gravel stuck on his tires it might have destabilized them enough to cause him to loose control.

Just my opinion of what might have happened at the time that I was watching the race.

Now that I do know about first hand. My grandfather used to make it and helped me build a still in my kitchen on base at NAS Whidbey Island. Needless to say I had the most popular house on base!

Nope .. Spads were just before me. I started off at North Island with VP-31. They did P-2V's. Last ones in the fleet. From there to NAS Atsugi. Worked at the AT shop. Last stop was VA-212, NAS Lemoore. 6 months on the Hancock (CVA-19). That was the only time I was at sea. A-4 Skyhawks. Got to fly off the ship in a Fudd. I came home before they did.

Where was 165 based ? When I was in Lemoore they were there but flew the A-4 at that time.

Whidbey. The Boomers were Spad drivers until the Intruder came into service then was decommed in 96. We were the first to handle the Harpoon. Awesome weapon that is. We were also the first to have the TRAM. Target Recognition Attack Multisensor. Turret ball under the chin with a wild FLIR. Angels 20 at night and can see and read lisence plates on I-5. Got a wild story about the first launch of the Harpoon.

I agree. Jeff's a loser. Lost his way right up to first place. Now Tony on the other hand, is a REAL MAN. Never blames anybody else, always admits when he's wrong, and is just an all-around pleasant individual.
