one thing for sure: neither Montoya nor Harvick will ever be called robots. a robot won't take risks nor will it exhibit anger or frustration. these two, like them or not, take risks and exhibit both anger and frustration (with different levels of suaveness, to be sure.)

I wholeheartedly agree Duck. My point was, Na$car is so bent on sanitizing the sport, its almost laughable.

I'm with ya! God forbid they have some emotion. I thought it was great, and i was just listening on the Radio!

Although from some of the comments I heard on Sirius today, it seems they are just as mad. Good, Bristol is coming up, and I'm gonna be there! Maybe there will be some excitement there, what do ya think!?

Aw man, I'm not gloating, I'm just happy as hell!

It would be very cool to see a moment that folks will talk about for years! I live 10 miles from Dover, and other than Jr's win after 9/11, not many races there are memorable! I just hope to see a good one!

And Harvick/Montoya might give us that!

Thanks, I plan on it! I'll also be taking lots of pics!

I'll post my Photobucket link when I get back, If I'm awake.

And I'm still hoping for some fireworks from these two. I bet they both race like good little boys at (yawn) Michagan, but will mix it up for sure at that high banked half mile!

Yup, Michigan is a big snooze. But Bristol ... YEEEE HA!!

Actually, I don't know how any driver can master that track.

Once again, I find myself off topic! Jeeez!

Re: Harvick, Montoya nearly come to blows after wreck

I certainly don't want to get in between you two "dudes" in your efforts to battle the wits out of one another. I don't care a lot for either driver. Oddly enough both drivers have the ability to win without making bonehead moves. I do think Juan is making more foolish moves but on one part of this issue Kevin was way out of line. He had no reason to pull his wrecked car in front of Juan's car. Granted Juan's was just a rolling wreck anyway but Harvick would have been better of, attitude wise, to stay in his car and leave the car right where it stopped.

Unfortunately it is real easy to look back and admit that "I should have done this or that" but that seldom happens. Makes for great TV if nothing else.

Harvick was out of line by getting out of his car and coming towards Montoya.
Why is it everyone seems to think Harvick is a badass, because of his mouth??? I havent seem him win any Ultimate Fighter contests lately. Supposedly JPM is versed in Kung Fu, and if so, would most likely make Chop Suey out of Kevin. If you check out the vids, Harvick always plays the tough guy when officials or crew members are there to hold him back. I dont think he knew how to react when Montoya stood up to him, so he just twiddled with his driving suit straps. JPM fears nobody.

Ya know, I like Harvick, but I kind of saw it the same way. Maybe not with him only running his mouth when there are officials there, but he did seem a bit taken aback by JPM's anger!!!

And he was fiddling with the suit straps! I thought it was just me!

Re: Harvick, Montoya nearly come to blows after wreck

My daughter said the same thing....lol. She said Kevin didn't seem to want to do alot but talk until the officials got over there. So I watched the video again and I agree.
If when Kevin got his car going he had went on up the track or pulled over by Burton and stayed in his car, none of it would have happened.

by the way i met harvick today in jackson michigan at auto zone on my 29th birthday.a day i will never forget. one real cool cat.
