| Harvick Wins Busch Race Harvick won the Busch race today. But I don't think he would have without some help. He was gonna be a few laps short on fuel and they were talking about how he had to save fuel and he needed caution laps. So a car spins,with a few laps to go, but gets back going, caution comes out. Now earlier in the race cars had spun out and got back going and there would be no caution. When this caution comes out Rusty asks why is the caution out, he got back going and they hadn't been bringing the caution out for that. Sounds to me like Harvick had alittle help today. He made the comment about him winning last week but all anybody wanted to talk about all week was the Robby and Ambrose conflict. But I do feel like he would not have won today without alittle help from Nascar. But thats just my opinion. |

| Re: Harvick Wins Busch Race I didn't watch the race today, but I understand what you are saying. It has been happening for years. Happening so much you just come to expect it. Don't worry it comes full circle. One day Nascar will get so repetitive that when a car spins Nascar wont throw the caution just so someone new will win. For whatever reasons be Nascar gets in a rut. They did it when Gordon came along and they are doing it now. They get in this rut where they think all the fans want to see is the same names each week. When they see the fans getting tired of it again like we did with Gordon in the late 90s they will open up the flood gates to all the new blood like they did in the early 2000s. |

| Re: Harvick Wins Busch Race there is no question that cautions were harvicks best friend.the rcr cars are getting great fuel mileage on road courses something they have been working hard at.but i dont think he needed the last caution.it wasnt a determining factor.he had plenty of fuel to do multiple burnouts.and i dont believe he ever ran out.instead of this crap why dont we start a thread giving congrats to the man who tied for second most wins in busch history.and if you want to discredit his success because he is a buschwacker lets not forget that mark martin never ran a full season in busch as far as i know and i never here people try to discredit his busch success. |

| Re: Harvick Wins Busch Race Not trying to discredit him. I happen to like Harvick. Just saying Nascar helped him today. He needed help to save fuel. Cars have been spinning and get back going all day, with no caution. Close to the end, car spins out and gets going, and caution comes out, after the car gets back going on the track. What's that called? Wait I bet they were trying to help the guy in 20th, not Harvick. |

Has nothing to do with him being a buschwacker and also has nothing to do with Mark Martin. |

| Re: Harvick Wins Busch Race Cautions or not, whether you're a Harvick fan or not, and I'm not, this guy can drive a road course, an oval, whatever. If he were not running up front to be able to "take advantage of" the caution, he would not have won. But he was up front. It took just a little skill and effort to get there, so in my book, it's a deserved win. He had to get himself in that position in the first place, and he did. Same as a rain out, if you're good enough to get yourself to the front and the race is called, you win. Luck is part of it, but again, you can't get up front without some talent. Good for him.

| NASCAR races are won and lost by the heads of NASCAR. It's a consortium of the power elite who actually own the race teams that decide in advance who wins, who loses, track placement, you name it. If Tony Stewart gets word to take out a particular driver he takes em out, if Jeff Gordon gets word to hold back he holds back, even down to the big pile ups, it's all orchestrated by the NASCAR upper echelon. Its one of the biggest and most successful conspiracies pulled off on the American people ever. {
