That's good news.
I really enjoyed watching that race, and I think all the drivers had a great time too. Sure looked like it.

Prelude to the Dream raises $800,000

The third annual Nextel Prelude to the Dream, held June 6 and broadcast live on pay-per-view, raised $800,000 for charity.
The event at the Eldora Speedway owned by two-time NASCAR Cup champion Tony Stewart featured several top NASCAR drivers and allowed the Tony Stewart Foundation to make the contributions to charity.
The chief benefactor is the Petty family-owned Victory Junction Gang Camp. The Randleman, N.C.-based camp for chronically ill children will receive a $600,000 donation from the Foundation.
Other donations were made to the Autism Society of Delaware and Motor Racing Outreach, each of which will receive $25,000. The remaining $150,000 stayed in the Foundation, allowing it to continue support of groups caring for chronically ill children, drivers injured in motorsports activities and charitable outfits specializing in the protection of animals. Charities actively supported by the organization include the Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Indiana Special Olympics, Greyrescue (Greyhound Rescue Organization) and the Victory Junction Gang Camp.
