Re: Jeremy Mayfield Out Of Ride Again

I don't really think he'd bring to much to a team.

Can't wait to hear what Jeremy thinks the problem is with BDR. We all know what he thought the problem was at EMS

History repeats itself for the third time.

He couldn't be Penske's #1 driver so he started a big stink and left under pressure.
He couldn't be the big cheese at Everham so he made a personal attack against his boss and he was unceremoniously fired.
Now he's being out-shined by Blaney and, at least this time, he didn't make an ass out of himself.

I wish him well.

Season's not over yet. He still has time to be himself.

Re: Jeremy Mayfield Out Of Ride Again

I don't think Jeremy has had the best opportunity with previous teams. He has talent just hasn't been able to use his talents with the teams he has been with.

Re: Jeremy Mayfield Out Of Ride Again

It is all ego. I believe I heard on Nascar Now that he asked for his release so he could evaluate his chances for next year. Excuse me Jeremy? Who the hell do you think will sign you? He should of kept his mouth shut and tried to get the 36 car into the show every weekend instead of bailing out. He wont find a ride next year. He is yesterday's news. He is done.

He won with Penske, he was jusr paired\with ageuine NASCAR icon, Rusty.

Me made the playoffs with Everham, he ws just paired with a NASCAR teenaged idol, Kasey.

It wopuld appear that Jeremy stands out only when he's part of a one-car team.

FYI, It isn't out yet but Bob Utter, who writes for the Charlotte Observer, is coming out with an article on Jeremy sometime this week. It's a positive piece and in it Jeremy is quoted as saying his BIG mistake was not working with Rusty and leaving Penske.

Re: Jeremy Mayfield Out Of Ride Again

I think Jeremy has some talent, but not as much as he thinks he has.
