| Re: NASCAR's Side of Gordon Ambrose Controversy I watched the race and saw the flag waving BEFORE Gordon was spun. If it was Jeff Gordon (or any popular driver) they would have maintained the lead. Since the caution was already out - the field is frozen. So, all NASCAR had to do was enforce the rules and this issue would not have happened.
What Gordon did was even more incorrect. He stayed on the track, wrecked Ambrose (on purpose I am sure) and then even had the nerve to do a burnout and in a sense thumb his nose at NASCAR.
The way I see it:
Robby Gordon - 100 grand, miss 4 races and on probation
NASCAR - 100 grand, get yer head out of your asses and call it fair for ALL drivers |
