Looks like Kasey will be the new Bud-boy. In this story on NASCAR.COM he talks about the possibility saying "I've been in some conversations, so I would say it's closer if they bring the driver into conversations and they went really well; I really like the people there..."

There's also mention of the encounter with Paris Hilton: according to Kasey they talked racing.

It would be a great deal for Kasey. I hope he gets it. Did you hear them talking about Bud has that thing where you have to be 25 to do a commercial for them? I didn't know that.

most beer companies try not to promote teenage drinking by ensuring the people in their commercials are "older" and not easily mistaken for teenagers.

Did ya'll hear on RaceDay, I think, when they were talking to Ray about Bud and Kasey had been talking, and he said, you mean they've already talked to the driver? I was like, could you make yourself look any more stupid. At least act like you know what's going on with your drivers ( besides the one).

COOL FOR KASEY.bad for bud.i just dont see this one.shakey kahne.beer guy with the shakes.kasey isnt really locked up in the top 35 the way his luck is going.it would be a shame if bud missed some races next year.ive been sayin all along stay with dei and work it out where truex jr drives the bud car.hes a better personality for bud plus he used to drive the number 8 in busch.

Truex can't drive the Bud car. He just signed another deal with Bass Pro a few weeks ago.

you're assuming Bud "wants" to stay with DEI after Jr. leaves. I don't remember them saying one way or the other which way they preferred.

Bud is probably the #1 sports sponsor in the world .. they're gonna go after the most recognizable face they can get .. Truex doesn't fit the bill, Mark might have, but I (and maybe they) think he's probably too old. DEI has no one else.
