I always thought the 3 laps was the max you could run before they pull the card. You are expected to comply ASAP. You shouldn't cut down and cause a wreck in your haste to get to pit road, but you are not expected to do any damage out there either.

It is not a license to pull what Robby did either. And he knows that.

And I would disagree. It is still a NASCAR event, right?? I don;'t think you should be able to do whatever you want in one series without any punishment in the other. If you wnat to play down there, then you get to pay. I think this just might put an end to to some of these cup drivers going down there and driving like idiots. Harvick should have been black flagged too.

If it was ARCA, or a sports car race, then leave it be. But it is NASCAR. Good enough for me.

I agree with that. Robby still broke NASCAR rules in a NASCAR event. plus, he didn't just break a rule, he ignored what NASCAR told him to do. If you decide to ignore NASCAR than by all means you're gonna be parked.

Nascar has lost my respect. It started with the AT&T lawsuit, that really got to me. Glad that they lost that, that was soooo cool. And I'm tired of them making up rules as they go along and changing them to suit when they think a driver disrespects them. They are becoming very fan unfriendly. Just my opinion.

I wasn't aware the suit has been decided .. only that the judge gave an injunction allowing AT&T to display their logo until the suit concludes. seems I remember the trial is set for october or november...

Hey Schumarco, welcome to GoTeamsGo and the NASCAR Forum. Italy, the home of Ferrari and Maserati. Long way from Charlotte and NASCAR. Glad you're with us. Feel free to jump in anywhere. We thrive on opinions and I see you've already given us yours. Be sure to visit the "predictions" thread and put in your picks for this week's race.

Evidently NASCAR feels "insubordination" and "temper tantrums" are less of a crime than cheating. So, Robby got a slap on the hand along with a "No No!". Then they lifted $35K from his wallet, put him in the penalty box for a week and told him "you better not do it again or else next time we're gonna..."

My kids wished I was such a lenient parent. They usually had to stand in the penalty box 'cause sitting was too painful.

Re: Nascar Parks Robby

Thank you Racer duck!
I usually see american races on tv.Tonight I'll be watching watkings glen.I live near Monza and Ferraris are my favourite car.But the nearest factory to my house is Alfa Romeo. So I'm kind of an "Alfista"(an Alfa Romeo supporter).I just started this year to watch races regularly and I find Nascar really good!!I like the infinite overtaking moves, the cars, the pilots and the strategy..It's different from european racing culture but it's equally interesting and thrilling!!
