| Busch series will compete in the rain? In one change from the Cup side, the Busch series will compete in the rain, if necessary, in upcoming road-course events at Montreal and Watkins Glen, N.Y. Goodyear will have rain tires on hand for both events and NASCAR officials said they will do whatever possible to make sure the events run on the day scheduled. Cars will also feature windshield wipers, defrosters and rear lights. -- Charlotte Observer That's Racin' | 08/01/2007 | Eight nations represented<BR>on entry list for Montreal |

| Re: Busch series will compete in the rain? Wow, that is awesome! I hope they can do this for the Cup cars soon. Btw, is it impossible to have rain tires for ovals? It would be cool to see Goodyear try and develop something like that. |

| Re: Busch series will compete in the rain? NASCAR tried this twice for the Cup cars at the Glen, either '03 and '04 or '04 and '05. Even had the windshield wipers on the cars in qualifying, but it never wound up being needed. I'm not sure why they stopped doing it. |
