"The more you have, the more you want." If there is a way to extract that last dollar from your pocket someone will find a way to get it.

What's going on WV G-ma,

Since I don’t follow the truck series, I don’t know of sweetie Erin Crocker you write about. But qualifying 2th for a race is an achievement no matter how you look at it. Erin seems to have the talent and tenacity to focus on the task at hand. I wish her well in all her endeavors.

When I get a chance, I happen to follow the LPGA, due largely to Michelle Wie. Now Michele Wie is only 16 but competes with the best women gofers in the world. She has recently played in a tournament with men and faired very well. Michelle’s talent has gotten her to the big leagues, but what makes her ranked in the top five of her sport is her drive, passion and focus on the game – and that interests me. But the attraction is not the fact that she can hit a 5-iron 200 yards but her femininity. (I have to watch what I say here because she is only 16). We can also talk about women’s professional tennis and Maria Sharapova, but I digress. Now Michele knows that her femininity is part of her charm and she and the LPGA wants to keep it that way. (There are many $$ to be had). If she would one day come out and have the attitude, “ I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar”, her stock would drop quicker than a bag of wet cement. I would loose respect for her as a woman but still would announce that fact that she could drill me any day in a game of golf.

Being a NASCAR forum, this may be a little bit off subject but the idea here is that NASCAR wants to attract the woman in all her feminine glory. Now woman can go out and fight wars, build bridges, put out fires and yes, drive racecars, (goEringo), but in reality this is not what most do, nor have the desire to do. Maybe in WV they do a lot of this stuff, but everywhere else I don’t see it. By Nature, women are not called to these tasks because that is not the PURPOSE of women and deep down in their core they know this… they are just wired that way after many thousands of years of evolution.

Women are the links, the glue of society. They are Nature’s emissaries, and they answer only to Nature. They are the eyes and ears of Nature. When man appears, Nature rejoices and so will NASCAR with an extra billion or so in the till.

Done and done.

WOW , you're getting real close to creating a bad name for yourself (LOL) There are far more female NASCAR fans out here than you are giving credit for. When some owner finally gives a woman a real chance at racing and provides her with all the right stuff .... then you'll hear her roar !!!

When NASCAR gets their 'Danica Patrick', you will see more male fans flocking over than female fans. But write a romance novel or two and tie this somehow to NASCAR - now you're talking females by the droves converting.

Remember follow the money and the other forces that really make the world turn.

Done and done.

I'm assuming you are male. If you were female you would understand this is a sarcastic gender discussion. None of your statements apply. This is between sweetie Blue and me. So sweetie LSC9901 go check out the other threads

Be nice grandma. I'm married to one of your gender so I know, first hand, what sarcasm is all about. I wouldn't change one thing about it either. She even enjoys NASCAR. What more could a guy ask for ?????

Ok. For Blue: Between the lines I'm reading you would like to see women back in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant. It a'int going to happen.
I empathize for men. I know you are afraid. Women are intelligent and capable of accomplishing any goal She set's for herself. Look what man has done to mother earth the pass 4000+ years. You think we could of done worse?
And not only that, but today sperm could be frozen for future generations. Women are in reseach too you know. But don't worry most of us Gals want to keep y'all around. You are lots of fun to play with.
