Re: Whats wrong with Everham Drivers

I say they all get some of the blame, the owner, equipment, the drivers and the crews. If all of em don't do their jobs, they'll never do good.

Re: Whats wrong with Everham Drivers

I think that all Nascar team's have their up and down year's . I mean with the CONSTANT rule changes and as well as changes to the "old" car's , the COT,I'm sure that its hard to get a handle on thing's .

An to think that the car's are supposed to be on an even playing field what a joke

OK just Jeff, Jimmy and Casey (no Shrub 'cause he's gone anyway), let them fight it out for the cup. no body else has a chance. we'll just draw for the remainder of the positions! and since Hendrick is so far ahead in the COT, this extra time off will give the other teams a chance to catch up. should we concede the Daytona 500 also? probably should.
I think that is a good ides. Do you think you could get all that arranged RD?

I'm pretty sure there's a couple sponsors who will be mighty upset. and the TV folks will probably resort to drawing in extra cars on the film. and I doubt many of the current sponsors will want to carry the TV load, so they'll probably have to get some from the Car-toon Network to help out. but the main reason I don't think I could, is I got a fishing trip planned in a couple weeks and my tackle box is a mess: rusty hooks, all the artificials scattered around, the worms got loose and crapped on everything. I just don't have the time, sorry.

I think a $25,000 fine would be well received through out the GTG community.

So what is wrong with Evernham Motor Sports.
Yeah, Sadler left RYR to go to Evernham, a so called "better team".

Sadler's Rookie year in 1999 started with the Wood brothers, his stats for the seasons are as follows:

Wood Brothers - 4 seasons
1999 - 24 in points (Rookie)
2000 - 29th in points
2001 - 20th in points
2002 - 23rd in points

Yates Racing - 3.5 seasons
2003 - 22nd in points
2004 - 9th in points
2005 - 13th in points
2006 (thru Watkins Glen) - 20th in points

Evernham - working on it
2006 - (last 14 races) - 22nd in points
2007 - (present) - 23rd in points

Sure looks to me like he left for a "better" team!! His only "good" stats come from the Yates stables, they took a "mediocre" driver and put him up there in the mix. Poor lil Sadler!! I feel for him!! Wow!! What a sarcastic post I made!!

I wish Elliott would have stayed with the Woods. He maybe could have kept the 21 above the surface. He was running pretty well for a couple years there, not to mention he had a crew cheif that was labeled a genuis for one race winning decision at Bristol. I would have liked to see what would become of that team, and now all three programs have fallen behind.

To bad several years ago, that Yates and Woods didn't join forces, who knows what could have been!!
Please excuse me for my now low opinion of Sadler!! I understand that "he did what he had to do" but he didn't need to lie through his teeth about it!! D.J. also left but he was a man about it and said he was leaving. So, I still have my respect for D.J.,wasn't happy about it, but he didn't lie!! He isn't doing very well either, but I still have respect for him. I'm just glad that I never invested to much money on Sadler stuff!! He left me with a bad taste!!
