passing

i thought most passes nowadays are made by one car moving over and then the drivers wave at each other

Re: Draft Track a huge failure?

harvick29 I like all the spotters on the restarts. I think it adds a feel for lots of things going on at once and how intense the restarts can be with everyone bunched up and trying to keep up with everyone around you

it would be better if it was maybe the first row or two, but scattered around and ya don't even know who's talking to who... can do without the extra noise, 'cause that's all it is until you got an idea who's spotters are talking. I prefer to hear the radio transmissions associated with the car on the camera or whose camera is producing the on-screen view of the action.

That does seem to be how the majority of them are done.

Re: Draft Track a huge failure?

Now, if they'd just get rid of the confusing and pointless jumble of spotter conversation at the start of each race and random times during the race.

Re: Draft Track a huge failure?

I don't mind some of the spotter conversation as it gives some insight as to what goes on that we do not know about but when they have a restart and all 43 spotters are talking .... NOT GOOD !!!

Re: Draft Track a huge failure?

It was interesting to learn more about it but it's useless like the 3-D thing Nascar does when their is a wreck!

I hope the other networks adopt ESPN"S draft track technology. Just think how effective it could be in describing things to the audiance not only in NASCAR but in golf, tennis, boxing or even football!!
