yeah, this one's got lots of juicy quotes...read it right after it hit the NASCAR website, but had too many irons in the fire (read that open browser windows) and couldn't post it.

guess you could say this became public speculation last year when Kahne blasted Everham for not supporting them/him at the track (Ray was "tutoring" Erin at the time.)

now he says it's better for her career if she's on another team so there's no implication of impropriety. kinda late for that if you ask me.

There ya go. Even if she were the best driver to ever sit behind the wheel, she will be remembered for her "relationship" with her boss, not her driving. Yup, just what I want my girls to be doing - messing up their lives and screwing up opportunities because they can't say "um - no, this is not a good idea." I've gotta go call them and tell them I want them to be just like her. It may take two to tango, but it only takes her to say "no way, dude,". She could have shut it down before it got started. And as for the cradle robber? Apparently "no" isn't a word in his vocabulary. You probably won't find the phrase "common sense" either. But I bet he knows a little something about spousal support (a.k.a. "alimony" when I was a kid) and "actions detrimental to the 'sport' of marriage." Duh.

Just picking a nit, but didn't you mean to say "Mayfield?"

Even though she's an independent contractor, doesn't Ray realize the door he's left open for a "Sexual harassment" lawsuit?

Re: Evernham admits relationship hurt driver's career

I think everybody knew what was going on there. He sure wasn't keeping her around because of her driving skills.

There I go again. I hope Bette doesn't see that. She's dingin' me for not including the gals. Maybe I should have written:

"Person, do I have a banning answer for that"

Gonna consult the crystal balls. Bought a second as a back-up in case of primary system failure. Wait, wait, there's a ray of light!! Hold it - "ray" - might lead to confusion, there's a shaft of light. The haze is clearing. Holy jumpin' Jedi! How could we not see this?!?! The commonality is - 24. He's Jeff's father!!! Making Princess Le --- I mean Erin --- oh good Lord take these balls from me. I want know no more.

"Darth" Evernham. No, no, no cried Lu --- Jeff. Yes, yes, yes cried ---better let that one drift away.

Too fast. Too loose. And the race cars are fun to watch too.
