If this is true I would be tickled pink. I would be soooo mad is RCR offers him a ride and he turns them down. Bobby needs to be in competitive stuff and he isn't getting that with PE. It was a nice experiment Bobby, time to move on.

Labonte deserves a good car in good equipment. While PE is making big gains, I think a move to a competitive team like RCR would be the right move for him.

While it sounds good on the surface, I think the only way that Petty Enterprises will ever get back into the top 15 would be for Kyle Petty to retire, afterall he's not the best driver on the track. Just a top 35 driver, anyone could do better than Kyle.

Ever since Bobby ran into the youth movement, it took time for him to make the proper adjustments. Of course, the Gibbs folks became impatient and waisted no time giving up on him. Sounds like a story I've heard recently...

I love the progress PE has made but with the success Bobby had and was still on his way too, he needs to be in better stuff. I wouldn't be offended if this were to happen.

Wow, I'm a big Bobby Fan, and grew up a Petty fan. Part of me would be a bit dissapointed if he didn't stay. I think he has enough left in the tank to help them get back to victory lane.

However, I think he could be a contender again for RCR. That would be an offer I'd like to see him take.

Maybe, but I'm thinking along the lines of someone in their mid 20's, early 30's. Young enough to race for atleast 10 years, and get help from Bobby. BTW how old is Kevin?

Well it is working for Burton. I wonder if Burton has something to do with this. He is one of Bobby's closest friends. I would love to see Bobby race for Richard. Richard is an owner that actually respects the veterans. Not say PE doesn't, but Richard has championship equip. I am soooooo crossing my fingers on this one. Even though it is probably just another rumor to hit the mill.

I believe that this could be a huge boost in bobby's career. Bobby deserves to drive for a team that has a little bit more money, which means faster cars. I think Petty is a great team but with their struggles they can't expect one man to bring them back up from the bottom in just two years without hurting his.
