My BOLD quote had nothing in connection with that. He said they are working hard to protect integrity and credibility ... I say they need to work harder at it. Just an opinion.

I agree they need to work harder on it. I was just pointing out something.

Re: NASCAR conspiracy talk won't go away

Well, you may consider me ignorant and/or naive. That's fine. However, I find it hard to believe that NASCAR favors ANY driver. Yes, even Gordon. In fact, I would think that NASCAR would prefer to level the playing field to attract more fans. Who doesn't love a first-time winner? Who wants to watch Gordon, or any driver, win all the time? Why bother? It's just ludicrous! NASCAR and its sponsors would not put up with this!

I have noticed that since the "debris caution" controversy, the networks make it a point to show the actual debris on the track.

conspiracy/conspiracy theory
An unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons. A theory seeking to explain a disputed case or matter as a plot by a secret group or alliance.

So how many people would it take to bring this "conspiracy" together successfully? Excuse me, but these races have national TV coverage. Who would be stupid enough to expose themselves to discovery?

This is just crazy!

There! I feel better

THANK YOU!!!! Someone else feels the same way I do about this subject. It just blows my mind how people could honestly think there is a conspiracy in NASCAR that favors a particular driver and/or team. Like you said, there would have to be so many people involved and why would they call attention to themselves?

If everyone on GTG agreed all the time, I'd get bored very quickly. I'm not looking for a NASCAR Stepford Wives forum. There are plenty of those out there.

Now we must find a degree of that admission that we agree on.

I think I know what "that" is, I just don't know the degree (as in percentage) of how smart they are or from the other side of the fence ... how stupid they are.
