| Newman... all peddle to the metal, but no horsepower OK... Ryan can qualify... he can run in the top ten... he drops to the line, and the car goes backward. what does it take to put some lead in his pencil...? Is it the driver, or his motor...? |

| Re: Newman... all peddle to the metal, but no horsepower As you probably know it is a combination of many things. Could be the car, the engine, the crew, the owner. Could be one of those things, any combination of them or all of them. It may even be the driver. take your pick and go from there.

| Re: Newman... all peddle to the metal, but no horsepower The crew can change tires on a good day... the driver can run around the track... the car just doesnt have the straight line speed... Newman needs a car that can compete with the Chevy's on the inside line... I've had enough of the freight train.. as has newman!
